Assistant Project Manager Residential Construction

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our construction operations while building a foundation for future leadership. 

In this role, you'll partner directly with Project Managers to coordinate day-to-day activities on residential construction projects. You'll gain hands-on experience in project management, subcontractor coordination, and jobsite oversight--developing the skills needed to grow into greater responsibility within the company. 

What You'll Do 

  • Assist Project Managers with daily coordination of subcontractors across assigned job sites 
  • Support scheduling updates and track progress to help projects stay on time and on budget 
  • Conduct and document lot walks with homeowners and/or sales team as directed 
  • Help manage punch-out tasks and ensure homes are ready for closing 
  • Monitor compliance with safety practices and promptly report concerns 
  • Process and organize invoices, approvals, and project documentation 

What We're Looking For 

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
  • 2 - 4 years of residential construction or related field experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail 
  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment 
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project scheduling software a plus 
  • Drive to learn, take ownership, and grow into future leadership roles
