We are seeking a skilled Estimator to develop accurate construction budgets and support the purchasing process for our residential projects. Reporting to the Estimating & Purchasing Leader, this role plays a vital part in preparing job-specific estimates, managing trade partner relationships, and ensuring cost-effective, high-quality builds that align with our mission of creating opportunities for growth and positive change.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and job-specific budgets for new home construction.
- Manage and maintain pricing, trade partner agreements, and scopes of work.
- Review and approve purchase orders, bid packages, and change requests.
- Solicit competitive bids and negotiate pricing and rebates with trade partners and manufacturers.
- Compile permit and start packages for submittal and distribution.
- Track and analyze job cost variances, proposing cost-saving solutions.
- Support field teams with estimating, procurement, and variance resolution.
- Maintain and improve estimating systems, processes, and pricing databases.
- Research and evaluate new products and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 year of experience in homebuilding, estimating, or purchasing.
- Understanding of residential construction methods and materials.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and cloud-based tools (e.g., Dropbox,
- DocuSign).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and growth-minded with strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively across departments.
- Comfortable addressing performance issues with trade partners when needed.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Full Time
- Salary range: $60,000 $80,000 (depending on experience) plus performance-based bonus
